1. Agreement & Acceptance
By purchasing any product or service on this site you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Acceptance is confirmed by an explicit action at checkout (checking the acceptance box) and by completing payment.

2. Products & Delivery
All products listed are digital educational courses, delivered online via secure account access. No physical goods are shipped unless explicitly stated. Access is granted immediately after successful payment is processed. Access types (one-time purchase, lifetime access, or subscription) are stated clearly on each product page.

3. Licence, Use & Restrictions
a. On purchase, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to access course content for personal, non-commercial use only.
b. Sharing accounts, passwords, course downloads, or reselling course content is prohibited and may result in termination of access without refund.
c. Course materials remain the intellectual property of The Detailist LTD.

4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. The merchant is not liable for losses resulting from credential sharing or compromise.

5. Pricing & Payment
a. All listed prices are final at the point of sale. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
b. By completing a purchase you authorize the merchant to charge the payment method provided. Payment authorization and capture are governed by the issuing bank and card network rules. Evidence of authorization (AVS, CVC, authorization code, network response) may be used in dispute resolution.

6. Course Access & Support
a. After payment, you will receive an order confirmation email and a separate enrollment email containing login instructions and credentials to the registered email address.
b. If you cannot access the course, contact support at customer@thedetailist.co.uk. We will assist with access issues; platform or device problems are the purchaser’s responsibility.

7. No Guaranteed Results
Course content is educational. We do not guarantee job placement, certification, or income results.

8. Modifications to Service & Content
We may update course content, add modules, or make platform changes. Existing purchasers retain access to the course version applicable to their purchase unless otherwise notified.

9. Policy Updates
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

10. Data & Privacy
Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. By purchasing you consent to the collection and storage of contact and transaction data required for course access and dispute handling.

11. Chargebacks & Disputes (Important Section)
a. Chargebacks (disputes) are handled under card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Chargebacks may lead to reversal of funds, fees, and merchant monitoring. Your cooperation in resolving issues directly with support reduces the need for chargebacks.
b. If a chargeback is filed, The Detailist LTD will provide evidence including: order confirmation, enrollment emails, IP/device logs, AVS/CVC/authorization responses, account access logs, and the Transaction Verification Report (TVR). Collecting and presenting these data points is industry best practice to contest disputes.
c. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may delay resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks and to provide full transaction and access logs to the issuer. In cases of fraudulent or abusive chargeback behavior, we may pursue remittance or account remediation per card network rules.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Detailist LTD’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect losses resulting from interrupted service, device incompatibility, or user error.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [United Kingdom]. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [United Kingdom].

Additional Clarifications
Unless explicitly stated otherwise on a product page, all course purchases on this platform are processed as a one-time payment and do not constitute recurring or subscription billing. Customers are charged once at the time of purchase, and no automatic renewal or recurring charges are applied.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope & Rationale

These policies reflect that our courses are digital products delivered instantly on purchase; once access credentials are issued, access is considered delivered and irrecoverable. This policy is consistent with common card network guidance for digital goods.

2. One-Time Purchases (Non-Subscription)

a. All one-time digital product purchases are final and non-refundable.
b. If you believe you purchased in error, contact support immediately before accessing the course; we may evaluate exceptional cases at our discretion but do not guarantee refunds.

3. Subscriptions (If Applicable)
a. For any subscription product, recurring billing details and cancellation rights will be displayed at checkout.
b. Cancelling a subscription stops future recurring charges but does not refund payments already processed. If you cancelled before the renewal, provide evidence and we will review.

4. Access Problems & Technical Errors
If you cannot access course materials due to platform errors, contact support. If access issues are caused by merchant faults (platform outage, account provisioning errors), we will restore access or, in rare cases, consider remediation at our discretion. Technical issues caused by the customer’s device or internet connection are not grounds for refunds.

5. Chargeback Guidance for Customers (Customer-Facing)
We encourage customers to contact support before filing a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting support may slow resolution and lead to the merchant presenting full evidence to the issuer. If you file a chargeback and it is found to be invalid, the issuer may reverse the chargeback and you may be liable for fees per your cardholder agreement.

6. Merchant Response to Chargebacks (How We Defend)
When a chargeback is received, we will compile a representment packet including: order confirmation, enrollment emails with timestamps, IP/device logs, AVS & CVC responses, payment intent/charge logs, account access records, TVR summary, and any pre-dispute support communications. These items are presented in the order issuers prefer to review evidence.

7. Fraud & Unauthorized Chargebacks
We will investigate any unauthorized claims and will provide authorization evidence (AVS, CVC, authorization code, fingerprint) to the issuer. If evidence shows misuse or account sharing, we may restrict access and take appropriate recovery steps.

8. Exceptional Refunds (Merchant Discretion)
In limited cases (merchant error, duplicated payment, technical failure on our platform), refunds may be considered at the merchant’s discretion and will be documented. Any granted refund will be recorded against the order and may require account suspension or further verification.

9. Recordkeeping & Evidence Retention
To support dispute defenses, we retain transaction, access, and communication logs for at least 18 months or longer where required by card network rules. This ensures representment packets can be prepared quickly and accurately.

Refund Eligibility Clarification
As course materials are delivered instantly in digital form and access cannot be revoked once granted, all purchases are considered final and non-refundable. Refunds are not provided for change of mind, lack of usage, or dissatisfaction after access has been granted.
A refund may only be considered in circumstances where the customer is genuinely unable to access the purchased training materials due to a platform or account provisioning issue directly attributable to the merchant and where such access cannot be restored within a reasonable time after support intervention.

Customers are required to contact support for assistance before requesting any refund. Failure to seek support for access restoration prior to initiating a payment dispute may result in the dispute being contested using delivery and access evidence.
